About the Role
We have multiple DSW openings across various locations and skill sets. Based on your experience and availability, your causal shifts could involve:
Diverse Settings: Working in participants' private homes (IHC) or within our specialist Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes/Vertical Villages.
Essential Support: Assisting clients with personal care, meal preparation, mobility, and facilitating community access and daily routines.
Specialised Care: Managing complex needs, which may include implementing Behaviour Support Plans (BSP), using de-escalation techniques for behaviours of concern, and administering medication.
High Clinical Needs: Supporting participants with detailed health support plans and managing conditions related to trauma, forensic backgrounds, or other complex clinical requirements.
Team Collaboration: Delivering meaningful, person-centred care while working closely with allied health clinicians, case workers, and family members.
About You
We’re looking for people with a range of experience and qualifications:
Minimum 6 months experience OR Cert III/IV in Disability, Aged Care, or other related fields is highly desirable
Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and boundary setting
Experience with high-intensity or complex behaviours (advantageous but not required for all roles)
NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, Driver’s Licence and insured vehicle
